Many people in Tanzania seek fortune elsewhere to provide for their families, and sometimes this includes selling or importing drugs in other countries: China, Brazil, Pakistan, Hong Kong, South Africa etc. When they inevitably get caught, their wives and children back home are left with nothing, having committed no crimes.
St. Barnaba Foundation helps the families who have no one else to turn to, sending the children to school and buying up supplies for them. The foundation also trains the mothers to become entrepreneurs, giving them the initial capital they need to start making money and truly supporting their families.
St. Barnaba is asking for help to provide the school supplies for the kids, especially uniforms and textbooks.
